I love the uncomplicated nature of these morning time pages. My kids are looking forward to adding them to their routine (in place of what we currently do) and bringing more independence to that portion of their morning.
I am so thankful that I decided to use this as our Christmas curriculum this year. It has helped my family to really enjoy the season and focus on Christ together. Lots of wonderful memories made!
My kids love this curriculum. They love the lessons and the hands on activities. They get to pick their book of choice from the book basket to read so it’s always interesting for them.

I decided at 11pm, the day before advent, to start Christmas schooling. I decided to drop our regular curriculum for the month as a break for us. I had heard about Treehouse Schoolhouse online and decided to purchase it after looking at how easy it is to implement and my library has most books. This has been our best December yet! My children wake up every morning excited to learn a new country and make a new handicraft or baked good. This will be my go to from now on. :)
I wasn’t sure how this would fit into our curriculum but I have been so pleased! This has increased our handwriting skills and brought about great conversation about Grammer and spelling! I have loved seeing the kids narrations!
My family loved this unit!! The only thing I would have liked were QR codes for the suggested books on YouTube or their ISBN numbers. Overall a fabulous open and go unit! We subbed out making piñatas & made paper plate poinsettias for Mexico but otherwise followed the activities fairly close. I love that you can easily flex things to meet the needs of your family!
We’re grateful for some guidance on how to study and explore this advent season. One addition I would love (and could be a general document) would be how to really maximize on read alouds. How to introduce it; what to ask while reading, etc. similar to the guidance for the artwork.
I have a 5yo and 3yo that I homeschool. I bought the early years version because that’s what was recommended for their ages. I find it to not be engaging enough for them. It’s too simple, and I wish I bought the more advanced version. I don’t want to spend another $14 on the other version, so we are using it for the time being. I do not recommend the early years version if your kids can write. I’m giving 3 stars because I do think it is fun for them, and helpful for them to learn the date, time of year, and season.
We are grateful for this Bible Curriculum. It's a great tool that has brought our family together with a more centered purpose; spending time with the Lord and learning about each other on our faith journey's.
I took the leap in ordering this bundle of Nature Studies, and have been no less than amazed at their depth and quality, while still savoring of the sweet simplicity inherent in all the Treehouse Schoolhouse products. We have used quite a few different types of Nature Study guides and even a subscription or two, but none of them came close to the ease of use, powerful beauty, and joy for the children that we've experienced time and again with Treehouse Schoolhouse. I am just a normal homeschooling Mom who was always struggling to fit in this formative and inspiring school subject, until finding these guides, and now it seems that we are actually not just 'getting it done', but thriving, and loving every minute. I have loved A Connected Christmas. I has kept my kids engaged and excited for the next day.
My kids are 6 and 3 and love God! They love listening to the nativity told in the Bible. Being my kids are young I leave the Bible readings before bed. I play the song of the week through out the week and will read the poem a couple of times. Right now they aren’t as interested in the art, but as they get older and we build on this each year. The books are beautiful living books for the season and teaching the reason for the season. My son’s favorite so far is Christmas Day in The Morning. Great well thought out Christmas curriculum that you can build on each year.
Purchased the Wonder of Nature Number Bundle and Alphabet sheets along with a menu. Such a thoughtful concept, beautifully executed, and priced reasonably. Definitely recommend!
New to homeschooling and love the Daily Rhythm Cards for a nice visual schedule! They are nice quality and the kids are also excited to use them!
I am a fan of the nature studies, and love the Easter study so we decided to try the Christmas study. We love it! I did have trouble finding the books, but the YouTube videos have been helpful.
Our first year using connected Christmas. We’ve tried a few nature study weeks and I thought I’d give connected Christmas a try with my first purchase from treehouse schoolhouse. Wow! We love it. I have 4 children age 1-13 and my 4 year old could join with my 9&13 year old. We love the stories and crafts. And the poem song and art study is great to go with it too. Everything you need to get your family celebrating advent and Christmas together. Thank you for making such a lovely curriculum. I love the open and go and clear instructions. We are really looking forward to doing week 2.
Treehouse Schoolhouse does it again! They continue to provide beautiful curriculum that brings the opportunities I am looking to include in our school experience!

This curriculum has been a breath of fresh air to our school days as we approach Christmas. It is a perfect balance of work and blessing!
I am so grateful for this wonderful addition to our week of Thanksgiving homeschooling! I learned alongside my children so many new things and loved how the writing prompts were organized by topics that built on each other. It is a thorough and thoughtful Thanksgiving Unit as it is historical and allows the learners to consider the perspective and experiences of many who were a part of this time in history. My only suggestion would be to include several picture books for each day for each topic instead of just one picture book as I wasn't able to obtain several of them because they were too expensive or not able to ship to me on time.
(I also couldn't find links to these books being read aloud on Youtube.) Since a list of suggested Thanksgiving books is included in the curriculum guide, please consider having more titles paired with each day to help guide parents and ensure more obtainable books are suggested per topic. We love all things Treehouse Schoolhouse! We did their Christmas Around the World last year and absolutely loved it. We have also done their nature study and were huge fans. I knew we wanted to do her Connected Christmas for this year's Christmas School! I love the art & poetry that is added in and her book lists are always THE BEST! We are loving it as predicted!
This curriculum is perfect for what I needed. I love the layout and the artwork. My only suggestion would be to have dotted words for tracing over for the younger kids copywork and come down on the price a little. I chose to print it myself and have it bound but I just think it’s a little high still. I’m very pleased with everything though and can’t wait to use it this Advent season!
